Access Nightingale Datasets

Individual researchers can access most of our datasets using Globus to transfer the datasets to their institution’s compute infrastructure. To access all our datasets an institutional-level agreement will need to be signed.

If you have any questions, email CAAI@chicagobooth.edu

Globus Access for Individual Researchers

Follow the steps below to request access to most of our datasets on Globus. Your submission will be reviewed, and if approved, you will be granted the appropriate permissions to access our datasets on Globus.

Only researchers at academic institutions or non-profit research organizations will be admitted.

Step 1 - Fill out the registration form

Review our user terms of service and agree to them when registering.

Step 2 - Request to join our Globus Group

You will need to request to join the Nightingale User Group on Globus.

Join Globus Group

You need to use a Globus account using your institutional email address, otherwise, you will not be approved.

Nightingale Network - Access All Datasets

You can gain access to all our datasets when your academic institution becomes a part of the Nightingale Network. With a signed agreement between your institution and the University of Chicago, your institution will be able to give it’s researchers access to all of Nightingale’s datasets within it’s secure computing facilities.

To get started, contact the data governance or management team at your institution and inquire about their procedures for establishing data use agreements with other institutions. Provide them with this draft agreement that they will need to complete.

If you have any questions about the Nightingale Network, email CAAI@chicagobooth.edu.

Datasets only available through the Nightingale Network:
