How to Access Nightingale Datasets

Globus Access

With our updated user terms of service, researchers will be able to access most of our datasets through Globus. Globus is a tool for transferring data within and across organizations.

Follow the instructions here.

Nightingale Cloud

Browse the dataset using a cloud based JupyterLab interface. Visit app.nightingalescience.org.

Nightingale Network

You can gain access to all our datasets when your academic institution becomes a part of the Nightingale Network. With a signed agreement between your institution and the University of Chicago, your institution will be able to give it’s researchers access to all of Nightingale’s datasets within it’s secure computing facilities.

To get started, contact the data governance or management team at your institution and inquire about their procedures for establishing data use agreements with other institutions. Provide them with this draft agreement that they will need to complete.

If you have any questions about the Nightingale Network, email caai@chicagobooth.edu.

Datasets only available through the Nightingale Network:
