How to Access Nightingale Datasets through Globus

Globus is a tool for transferring data within and across organizations.

Log into Globus

1. Navigate to app.globus.org
2. Select your institution
3. Signin with institutional credentials

Obtain Collection Permission

In order to access our Globus collection, you will need to be granted permission.

• Send an email to support@ngsci.org from your institutional email address asking for access. Included “Globus Access” in the subject line.

Navigate to the Nightingale Collection

1. Select “Collections” from the side bar
2. Search for “Nightingale Open Science Datasets” and/or click “Shared with You”
3. Click on the “Nightingale Open Science Datasets” collection
4. Click “Open in File Manager”

From here you can select a dataset to transfer to a collection at your institution.
